  • 1949: Foundation of the PIERRE GUERIN company located in Southwestern France MAUZE-SUR-LE-MIGNON, dedicated to maintenance of dairy equipments.

  • 1959: Establishment of the public limited company "PIERRE GUERIN SA"

  • 1962: Opening of the new manufacturing facility in Niort (20 km east of Mauzé)

  • 1970-1980: PIERRE GUERIN reinforces its market position in Europe via a license agreement with the US Company TRICLOVER, to manufacture and distribute its range of products including pumps, valves, Tri-Blenders, CIP systems.

  • 1985: Beginning of PG biotech activities.

  • 1993: Acquisition of MORITZ company, specialized in agitation & mixing.

  • 1995: Acquisition of STORK SYSTEMAS ALIMENTARIOS which becomes PIERRE GUERIN IBERICA.

  • 1998: Acquisition of BIOLAFITTE company, one of the world leader in design and manufacturing of fermentors and bioreactors.

  • 1999: Acquisition of SCHUBERTH company in Lyon, specialized in manufacturing of stainless steel process vessels for chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

  • 2000: Establishment of PIERRE GUERIN Ltd in the UK, dedicated to Biotech activities.

  • 2002: INDUSTRI KAPITAL becomes main shareholder of PIERRE GUERIN via a LMBO. Acquisition of BIOLAFITTE Inc in the USA, dedicated to biotech activities.

  • 2006: CAPZANINE becomes main shareholder of PIERRE GUERIN. Creation of the Joint Venture DCI-BIOLAFITTE in the US. Creation of the Joint Marketing and Development Partnership with ATMI for Single-use bioreactors and fermentors
