The POLYMEL blending systems represent the ideal solution for any process that requires the dissolution or the pre-dispersion of large quantities of powder (Up to 9 500 Kg/h) into liquids.
It comprises of a mixing chamber incorporating a centrifugal pump casing, an impeller and a horizontally mounted hopper. The liquid enters tangentially in the diffuser pipe, through the mixing chamber where the impeller action forces a rapid acceleration. The vortex formed in the impeller area causes a pressure drop and thus the sucking-up of the powder from the hopper while turbulences created by the impeller result in the homogeneity of the final mix. Depending on the application, final product is directly transferred (continuous process) or recycled in a buffer vessel.
