With Bpifrance, PIERRE GUERIN is exploring new opportunities in Mongolia
As part of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and Mongolia, Bpifrance carried out its first economic mission to Ulaanbaatar in July 2025. PIERRE GUERIN took part in the French delegation to Mongolia and met with local economic players to discuss potential future projects.
Organized with the support of the French Embassy in Mongolia and the Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia, this initiative aimed to boost trade relations between the two countries by facilitating targeted B2B meetings with key economic and institutional stakeholders.
On this occasion, seven French companies operating in the agri-food, water treatment, healthcare, infrastructure, and mining sectors were invited, including PIERRE GUERIN.

Mongolia, a rapidly growing market
Mongolia is strategically located between its two major neighbors, China and Russia. It bases its development on abundant natural resources and a “third neighbor” policy, building strong ties with other international players to diversify its partnerships and reduce economic dependence. In 2025, activity is expected to accelerate (+7% according to the IMF), driven by the strong momentum of mining exports.
Its determination to diversify the economy, modernize infrastructure, and attract foreign investment is creating multiple opportunities in fast-growing sectors such as mining, agri-food, renewable energy, and healthcare.
An event held simultaneously with the Mongolia Economic Forum (MEF)
This program, built around networking sessions and institutional meetings, was energized by its parallel timing with the Mongolia Economic Forum, a major economic event.
These few days, filled with meetings and cultural discoveries, led to promising initial contacts, as highlighted by Doru Felezeu - Business Development Director.

This prospecting mission was very well organized by Bpifrance with the support of the French Embassy. It provided an initial introduction to the Mongolian market and made it possible to build connections with the organizers, prospects, support stakeholders, and fellow entrepreneurial participants.
