Christmas presents transformed into local forests
For the festive season, PIERRE GUERIN offered its employees a novel alternative: forgo their usual Christmas gift and donate it to Créateur de Forêt, a company committed to the design and implementation of sustainably preserved biodiversity projects.
13% of employees chose to transform their Christmas gift into a donation. An encouraging result that testifies to a sensitivity to this approach and provides concrete support for a local biodiversity project.
In order to reinforce the impact of the initiative, PIERRE GUERIN has also chosen to match donations.
When commitment takes root
The story didn't stop there. A few weeks later, our teams went out into the field, in the Vallée Guyot in Niort, to participate directly in the planting.
Alongside Créateur de Forêt, they planted several species of trees, carefully selected for their good adaptation to the local ecosystem and their role in the development of biodiversity over the long term.
It's this move into action that gives the approach its full meaning. Not just another indicator in a CSR balance sheet, but a day shared, out in the open, hands in the soil, serving the land that has welcomed us for decades.
A simple reminder that environmental commitment is also built through collective gestures, freely chosen and carried out together.

Beyond the symbolism, a forest is taking root in Vallée Guyot today. A visible, local forest, designed to grow over time. A living project, rooted in our territory, which reflects a strong conviction: the ecological transition is also played out on our scale.
