Meeting with the PIERRE GUERIN CHINA teams
In China, PIERRE GUERIN is reaffirming its ambition in a strategic market and strengthening its proximity with local teams, working closely with projects, customers and the industrial challenges of the region.
Since its establishment in China in 2014, PIERRE GUERIN CHINA has contributed to the Group’s development across the Asian market.
Its production site, inaugurated in 2020 in Dushan, south of Shanghai, recently welcomed several members of PIERRE GUERIN’s Executive Committee: Philippe PIERRE, Chief Executive Officer; David GOMBEAU, Deputy Chief Executive Officer; Paul CRAWLEY, Sales Director; and Florent DOUTEAU, Chief Financial Officer.
This visit provided an opportunity to meet with key local customers, spend time with the local PG team to review the site’s activity, and discuss ongoing projects as well as development prospects in the Asian market.
It also helped strengthen coordination between the French and Chinese teams, with a shared objective: to support our international and local customers in China as closely as possible to their needs, while maintaining PIERRE GUERIN’s global technical expertise and industrial standards.
During the discussions, several key topics were addressed, including local organisation, business development, the follow-up of ongoing projects, and the specific needs of industrial players operating in the Asian market.
These exchanges helped provide a concrete overview of the site’s challenges and identify the key drivers to support its continued growth and development.
PIERRE GUERIN’s presence in China is a major asset in supporting both local and international customers with responsiveness. It combines the Group’s long-standing expertise with direct knowledge of the field, the markets and the specific expectations of the region.
This meeting also highlighted the importance of the connection between the group’s different teams. Beyond geographical distance, the quality of exchanges, the sharing of experiences, experience and the circulation of information are essential to drive collaboration and successful teamwork across the Group ensuring a consistent approach, from the commercial phase through to project execution.
